Audemat Group Announces New Worldwide Sales Organization
Key Staff Appointments & New Office Opening Result From Recent Acquisition of APT Ltd
NAB Show, Las Vegas, NV, April 20, 2009
Following the recent acquisition of APT Ltd, the Audemat Group (www.audemat.com) has announced a re-organization of the sales and support structure for its worldwide operations.
It is anticipated that this development will strengthen the newly-enlarged Group's competitive position and improve the support and service offered to its global customer base.
The restructuring of the sales function will see the sales teams of both Audemat and APT grouped into four distinct territories with all personnel empowered to sell turn-key solutions from the Audemat, APT, Ecreso and Nortek product lines.
New appointments in the reorganisation include Kevin Campbell of APT who has been designated Sales Manager for the EMEA region, heading up a team of 8 sales staff located throughout the UK, France, Germany and Spain.
Also, APT’s Guy Gampell will take up the role of Sales Manager for the Asia Pacific region, overseeing the recently established office in New Delhi and the launch of a new Audemat Group sales office in Beijing.
APT’s North America operation will be transferred to the Miami-based offices of Audemat Inc, headed up by Christophe Poulain. Christophe will oversee the sales and support of all Audemat, Ecreso and APT product lines throughout North and South America with an amalgamated team of APT and Audemat personnel.
Sales of all products in France and the Maghreb region will continue to be managed by Audemat’s Stéphane Vansteelant who will add APT audio codecs to his available product portfolio.
Jean-Baptiste Roux, Audemat’s VP Sales & Marketing is keen to emphasize that there will be no staff cuts as a result of the reorganisation.
He states, “All APT and Audemat personnel remain in role. This re-organization has resulted from a desire to ensure that we capitalize on the talented workforce we have inherited and optimize the reach of all our sales staff worldwide.”
The technical support functions of both APT and Audemat will also be amalgamated to form a worldwide network capable of providing round-the-clock customer support.
With offices and personnel in the US, Brazil, UK, France, Germany, Spain, India, China and Australia, customers of the Audemat group can be assured of a speedy response and local logistics support.
Kevin Campbell, Director of Sales for APT states, “I believe that this new organisation capitalizes on the existing strengths of both Audemat and APT and will enable sharing of best practises throughout the group.
With extensive experience in the broadcast industry, we recognise the importance of local presence and exceptional customer service and plan to ensure that all customers throughout the Audemat Group will experience a truly professional level of support.”
Bruno Rost, President of the Audemat Group adds, “As a group, we have set ourselves ambitious growth targets, planning to achieve €28m / $37m turnover by 2010.
The new, restructured organisation provides a solid foundation upon which to build a multi-national operation capable of delivering this success, and ensuring that the Audemat Group becomes the world’s leading provider of innovative broadcast solutions.”
Rost continues, “In addition to organizational synergies and efficiencies, there are many benefits to be gained from fusing Audemat’s and APT’s capabilities worldwide.
I believe that we will emerge from this process as a more focused, dynamic and competitive industry player and that our combined sales and support network will offer the most efficient and effective service to all our customers worldwide.”
