Audemat Herald Arrival of New Goldeneagle DVB-T2
Audemat, the monitoring and control specialists within the WorldCast Systems’ group, will launch the new Goldeneagle DVB-T2 Signal Monitoring System at IBC 2011 in Amsterdam.
The Goldeneagle DVB-T2 is the latest product from Audemat, developer of the industry-leading Goldeneagle platforms for TV & Radio technologies, and it offers the same wealth of functionality and solid reliability that broadcasters and manufacturers expect from this respected brand. Nicolas Boulay, CTO for the WorldCast Systems’ group explains, “With adoption and pre-deployment testing of DVB-T2 continuing apace, the need for a reliable and fully featured signal monitoring system was palpable. From our many years of experience delivering monitoring equipment for Analogue, ATSC and DVB-T/H equipment to leading broadcasters, we have all the customer insight and R&D expertise required to ensure that the Goldeneagle DVB-T2 will meet the needs of those at the vanguard of deploying this exciting new technology.”
The Goldeneagle DVB-T2 is capable of monitoring up to 20 channels per receiver through RF and ASI inputs and can be deployed either at a transmitter site or throughout the coverage area. Features such as audio/video streaming, automatic scanning and MPEG services monitoring provide a truly, comprehensive and professional solution. Like all Goldeneagle products, users have the option to introduce remote facility management on the signal monitoring platform using ScriptEasy software and a variety of I/O inputs. Together, these solutions form a full suite of site monitoring opportunities enabling full access to the configuration, parameter setting, alarms, notification and automatic actions of many different products at a remote site.
Set for release in Quarter four 2011, the Goldeneagle DVB-T2 will be on display on the Audemat / WorldCast Systems’ stand 8.B50 at IBC 2011 from the 9th to the 13th September.
